Nagaland governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio have extended greetings to the members of the Sangtam community on the occasion of the Mungmung festival.
In his message, Bhalla said that Mungmung festival, celebrated with devotion and gratitude, reflected the rich cultural traditions of the Sangtam community and their close bond with nature. He prayed that Mungmung bring happiness, good health and abundant blessings to all.
In a social media post, Dr. Rio hoped that Mungmung, pre-harvest festival, strengthen bonds of unity and harmony, and usher in blessings of a bountiful harvest, prosperity, and well-being for all.
