The Directorate of School Education has announced the names of 13 teachers selected for the State Level Teachers Award 2025 in recognition of their exemplary service and dedication to the teaching profession. The list, released by the department, is not in order of merit.
The recipients include K. Nzanbeni Lotha (GHSS Diphupar ‘A’, Chumoukedima), Avilhou Sokra (PM Shri GHSS Chumoukedima), Mary Hangsing (Mount Mary Higher Secondary School, Chumoukedima), L. Tsulongthong (GHSS Pungro, Kiphire), Shumei Antony (GMS Leinak, Longleng), Rhoshutho (GPS Meluri Town), Imojungla (GHS Sumi, Mokokchung), Nafisa Ali (St. Joseph’s School, Mon), John Konyak (GMS Shangsa, Mon), Agwamlie Poireng (GHSS Peren), Dr. Bijay Kumar Mishra (GHSS Phek), M. Chibeni Humtsoe (PM Shri GMS Wokha Town–A), and M. Samuel Sema (GHSS Satakha, Zunheboto). The Department of School Education has extended its congratulations to all the recipients for their outstanding contributions to education across the state.
