A two-day long 2nd edition of Inter Khelo India Centre (KIC) Under-16 Badminton Tournament under the aegis of Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland, concluded on Wednesday at Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium, Pfutsero in Phek district.
Gracing the closing ceremony as the special guest, Deputy Commissioner Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, commended the players for their efforts, inspiring them to hone their skills further and chase excellence that brings pride and accolades.
He motivated them to play a positive role in society, touching lives and influencing others. Nguori counselled the players to harness the power of social media responsibly, striving to make a meaningful difference and pursuing greatness in their endeavours.
The closing ceremony was chaired by Director, Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland, Kethosituo Sekhose, while vote of thanks was proposed by Deputy Director, Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland Nyuvitho Nyuthe.
