Mahendras Education felicitates NPSC achievers; Rank 1 EAC among honorees

Mahendras Education, Dimapur, held a felicitation programme on September 10 to honour its successful candidates who cleared the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) Examination, including Rank 1 – EAC Bozizo Tetseo and other achievers.
Addressing the gathering, Bozizo Tetseo emphasized the importance of clarity of purpose in civil service preparation. Sharing insights from his journey, he advised aspirants to rely on standard materials, maintain consistency in reading, and begin answer writing early. He stressed that while all stages of the exam draw from the same knowledge base, each requires a distinct approach. Bozizo also highlighted the emotional challenges of the journey and encouraged aspirants to embrace mistakes and grow through smart study and perseverance.
Kevilhou Theunuo, who secured Rank 17 (Secretary Assistant), reflected on his four-attempt journey, underscoring the role of family support and mentorship. He urged aspirants to remain resilient and disciplined, quoting Martin Luther King Jr.: “If you cannot fly, run… But by all means, keep going.”
Rank 10 JDA, Hukuyi Venuh, shared a deeply personal account of overcoming illness and financial hardship. Initially drawn to music and politics, his path shifted after a health crisis in 2018. He credited prayer, faith, and the institute for transforming his preparation. Venuh encouraged aspirants to persist through uncertainty, stating, “If I can, why can’t you?”
Thengeo B, Rank 35 (Secretary Assistant), acknowledged divine grace and family support in his success. Coming from a science background and working as a freelance artist, he cleared the exam on his first attempt. He spoke on the balance between passion and career, urging aspirants to pursue both self-expression and responsibility. He emphasized that interviews assess candidates beyond academics, including their values and interests.
The programme also featured felicitation of candidates and dignitaries by NPSC head of Institute, Biswajyoti Dutta, and an interactive session with students. Earlier, the event was chaired by Counsellor Tolinla, with a welcome address by Sunita Gurung, invocation by Apele Mero, and vote of thanks by Branch Authority Lovungi Ezung.
