Phek District Inter-Schools U-14 Sepaktakrow Tournament 2025 organized by ANPSA Phek Unit concluded on September 12, at the Badminton Stadium in Phek Town. The event was grace by District Sports Officer, Phek, Tepulezonu Tetso as the guest speaker.
In her address, Tetso encouraged the young athletes to aspire towards becoming professional sportspersons and urged parents and school authorities to provide ample opportunities for talented students in sports. The program was presided over by assistant general secretary, ANPSA Phek Unit, Kudezo Vero and invocation by principal, Bishop Abraham Memorial School, Phek, Fr. Sivi George. A musical interlude was enjoyed by all, with Panato Chishi from Holy Care School, Phek, performing the song “It’s a Beautiful Day.” Oath-taking ceremony was conducted by Stephen Choriya, committing the athletes to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship.
The prize distribution was presented by advisor to ANPSA Phek Unit, Ado Sakhrie, and vote of thanks by advisor to ANPSA Phek, Fr. Cyprian Lobo, followed by a benediction from assistant headmaster, Royal Foundation School Phek, Tsuvelu Hoshi.
