Tseminyu DPDB meeting reviews key initiatives

DIMAPUR

The monthly meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Tseminyu was held on September 18, at the DC’s Conference Hall under the chairmanship of vice-chairman and DC Japheth Woch. Newly posted officers Theyieneinuo Belho (DESO) and Athew Enah (Bank of Baroda) were warmly welcomed.
The house approved the registration of the Tseminyu District Differently Abled Person Union (TDDAPU) and discussed challenges in urban waste disposal, urging the Town Council to identify a suitable site.
Plans to install CCTVs in all offices were proposed, pending government approval. An RTI awareness program was announced for October 10 at Tseminyu Town Hall.
The house unanimously declared Tseminyu as a “Piggery District,” with an action plan to be presented in the next meeting.
Forest Ranger Yhuntilo Kent also delivered a detailed presentation on departmental activities.
