In an effort to reach out to wider audiences, the committee informed that eight matches have been scheduled at Chümoukedima Football Stadium from September 23 to October 1, with one match daily at 5 p.m. The remaining fixtures, including the grand finale, will be held at IG Stadium, Kohima.
The 25th edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy (MMT), which began as a humble initiative, has grown into what organisers described as a “symbol of passion, unity, and opportunity” for football enthusiasts across the state.
As the tournament entered Day-7, the competition has intensified, with 13 out of 45 teams already eliminated. Among individual players, Thokchom Adison Singh (jersey no. 17) of Mez & Co emerged as the top scorer so far, netting 10 goals.
One of the most remarkable moments of the ongoing tournament was recorded in a match between Mez & Co and Kohima Bile College, where an unprecedented 17 goals were conceded in a single game. Organisers noted that this set a new benchmark in the tournament’s history.
To enhance accessibility, the organisers have also introduced e-ticketing through BingeBoxx, which is additionally providing live streaming coverage of matches at both Kohima and Chümoukedima venues. Fans can also follow match schedules, results and highlights through the platforms of Dox Marketing & Media and BingeBoxx OTT, official partners of the event.
