NSF welcomes govt action on RMSA issue

Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has lauded the state government for its prompt response in addressing the grievances of RMSA Teachers 2016 batch.
NSF vice president VimeyiekhoVitso and general secretary Kenilo Kent, acknowledged the positive outcome of the meeting held on September 23, which was attended by officials from the School Education department, SamagraShiksha, ANSTA, and representatives of the RMSA 2016 batch.
NSF expressed gratitude to the School Education Department, led by its advisor Dr. KekhrieYhome, for initiating reforms and prioritizing the welfare of both teachers and students. The Federation assured its full cooperation in the collective effort to bring about positive transformation in the education sector.
Following the constitution of a High-Level Committee and Sub-Committee to examine the charter of demands submitted by the RMSA teachers, the NSF has also announced the withdrawal of its 10-day ultimatum issued to the State Government on September 17.
Meanwhile, NSF appealed to the RMSA 2016 batch of teachers to redouble their dedication towards the student community, stating that students remain at the core of the education system. NSF expressed confidence that the matter would be resolved within the stipulated timeframe and urged the High-Level Committee to expedite its report submission.
