Manu Bhaker, Esha qualify for Shooting World Championships

NEW DELHI, SEP 25 (AGENCIES)

Manu Bhaker and Esha Singh have qualified for both air pistol and sports pistol events at the Shooting World Championship, scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt, from November 6 to 18, reports Sportstar.
Gold medallist in the first three World Cups of the season, Suruchi Phogat, will spearhead the air pistol squad, while multiple World Cup gold medallist Rahi Sarnobat will strengthen the sports pistol team.
In men’s rapid fire pistol, Sameer Ghulia joins Anish Bhanwala and Adarsh Singh. Vishal Singh comprises the men’s air rifle team with Arjun Babuta and Rudrankksh Patil.
Elavenil Valarivan and Sift Kaur Samra will lead the women’s air rifle and 3-position teams, respectively.

Air rifle: Arjun Babuta, Rudrankksh Patil, Vishal Singh; Elavenil Valarivan, Shreya Agrawal, Meghna Sajjanar.
50m rifle 3-position: Niraj Kumar, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Swapnil Kusale; Sift Kaur Samra, Ashi Chouksey, Anjum Moudgil.
Air pistol: Sharvan Kumar, Samrat Rana, Varun Tomar; Suruchi Phogat, Esha Singh, Manu Bhaker.
25m rapid fire pistol: Anish Bhanwala, Adarsh Singh, Sameer Ghulia.
25m sports pistol: Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh, Rahi Sarnobat.
