Nagaland to host the UTT 28th Inter-District & State Table Tennis C’ship

DIMAPUR, SEP 27 (NPN)

Nagaland is set to showcase its table tennis talent as it hosts the UTT 28th Inter-District & State Table Tennis Championship from September 30 to October 3, 2025 at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium. The event will be organized by the Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA).
Supported by Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), led by Vita Dani and Niraj Bajaj, the championship aligns with UTT’s vision of securing an Olympic medal for India in table tennis by 2028. UTT aims to build a world-class league that inspires youth, entertains fans, fosters grassroots development, and delivers value to all stakeholders.
The opening ceremony will be graced by Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, K. G. Kenye, as the special guest. The tournament will see enthusiastic participation from table tennis stars, veterans, and enthusiasts across 13 districts, all competing for the coveted Team Championship title alongside various other category titles.
The event will be officiated by Ksh. Mahendra Singh, a Blue Batch International Umpire from Imphal, ensuring fair and professional conduct throughout the championship. All table tennis fans and sports enthusiasts are warmly invited to witness the biggest state-level table tennis tournament of the year. Entry to the venue will be free.
