NPF welcomes adoption of ‘Zbto Resolution’

DIMAPUR, SEP 29 (NPN)

Naga People’s Front (NPF) has lauded the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), the Sümi Hoho, all tribal hohos, civil society organizations, church leaders, and Naga political groups (NPGs) for successfully organizing the historic reconciliation meet at Zunheboto on September 27, 2025.
NPF through its press bureau asserted that the adoption of the “Zunheboto Resolution” was an important step for the Naga people on the path to peace and unity. NPF appreciated the courage and responsibility shown by everyone involved in committing to forgiveness, stopping hostilities, and working together for “One Naga Machang.”
The party stated that such kind of cooperation was essential to create a common political voice that reflected the hopes of all Nagas. Further, NPF welcomed the spiritual aspect of the initiative, including the call for prayer and reflection throughout October. It maintained that true reconciliation starts in the hearts of individuals, adding that “this spiritual focus” would guide the Naga people toward a fair and honourable political solution.
Regarding the extension of ban on NSCN-K for five more years, the NPF expressed belief that all conflicts could be resolved through dialogue.
NPF has, therefore, urged the Government of India to actively engage all Naga political groups, including those currently outside the peace process, to reach a durable and honourable settlement of the vexed Naga political issue.
Reaffirming its commitment to peace and dialogue, the NPF extended support to all efforts that strengthened Naga unity and a shared, peaceful future. The party encouraged every tribe, organization, and political group to continue upholding the spirit of Ungma and Zunheboto Resolutions.
