Football referees from Dimapur District Football Referee Association (DDFRA) and Niuland District Football Referee Association honoured G. Kami, general secretary of DDFRA for his outstanding contribution towards the growth and development of football refereeing in the district.
At a simple felicitation programme organised by DDFRA on October 2, referees from both the districts acknowledged Kami’s over four decades of dedicated service to the association.
In recognition of his enduring commitment, Kami was conferred the lifetime achievement award by Dimapur District Football Referee Association.
Clarifying earlier reports, Dimapur District Football Referee Association president Shiyito Achumi, who presented the award, lauded Kami for his tireless efforts in mentoring and grooming youth in the field of football refereeing across the district.
