NAB, DAYO, Ward 21 mourn Mayang’s demise

DIMAPUR

Nagaland Bar Association (NBA), Dimapur Ao Youth Organization (DAYO) and Ward 21 Welfare Committee, Dimapur have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Mangyang Lima, former Upa-Lokayukta of Nagaland.
NBA: In a condolence message issued by its president A. Zhimomi, the association acknowledged Lima’s distinguished service to the judiciary, having served in various capacities including ADC (J), District and Sessions Judge, Registrar of Gauhati High Court (Kohima Bench), and Upa-Lokayukta Nagaland. NBA described Lima as a well-known figure in the legal fraternity and among the group of law officers who transitioned from state service to judicial service. Remembering him as a man of integrity, dedication, and sincerity, the association stated that his contributions left a lasting impact on the legal community.
It extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
DAYO: In a condolence message issued by its media cell, DAYO described late Mayang as a sincere, honest and soft-spoken individual whose dedication earned the respect of all who knew him.
DAYO stated that even after his retirement, the government continued to seek his services—an enduring testament to his capability and commitment. His passing, it said, is not only a loss to the Ao community but to the people of Nagaland as a whole.
Honouring his contributions, DAYO prayed that such exemplary individuals continue to be born among the people and encouraged the younger generation and leaders to emulate his values and work towards a better, stronger Nagaland. The youth organisation conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
Ward 21 Welfare Committee: Ward 21 Welfare Committee, Dimapur, mourned the untimely demise of Mayang Lima, a resident of Ward 21, from Chuchuyimlang village.
A condolence message by the committee informed that Mayang Lima rendered distinguished service to Government in various capacities and contributed immensely to welfare of society, noting that his dedication, sense of duty, and commitment to public service would be remembered with deep respect and admiration.
The committee further extended sympathies and prayers to the bereaved family and prayed that the Almighty God grant strength and comfort, and that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
