Dimapur District Veteran Football Association (DDVFA) held a thanksgiving programme on October 12 to mark the successful culmination of the first Inter-Ward Football Tournament—DMC Trophy 2025—held from October 6 to 11, 2025.
Organized in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), the tournament aimed to foster unity, sportsmanship and community participation through football.
During the thanksgiving event, DDVFA members Apang and Renthungo shared reflections on the tournament’s impact. The programme was chaired by DMC Trophy 2025 convenor Thong, while DDVFA president Shiyito Achumi delivered the vote of thanks. Pastor Ren Ezung led the invocation and associate pastor of DABA, Toshi, pronounced the benediction.
