Nagaland heavy vehicle parking restricted along NH-29 in Chümoukedima

To ease traffic congestion and ensure smooth vehicular movement within Chümoukedima Town, authorities have issued an order prohibiting the parking of heavy vehicles along National Highway-29 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
According to the order, indiscriminate parking of trucks and other large commercial vehicles has been causing serious traffic obstruction and inconvenience to the public, particularly during school and office hours.
Heavy vehicles will be permitted to park along the highway only before 8 a.m. and after 3 p.m. for loading and unloading purposes.
According to ADC and executive officer, Chümoukedima Town Council, Dr. Kuzonyi Wideo, the directive will be enforced in coordination with Chümoukedima Traffic Police and Chümoukedima Town Council.
Vehicles found violating the order will be penalised as per legal provisions. The order comes into immediate effect and will remain in force until further notice.
