Nagaland HIV & AIDS awareness camp in Dimapur

DIMAPUR

Red Ribbon Club, Pranab College Student’s union, and Department of Sociology, in collaboration with Blood Center, District Hospital Dimapur and DISHA, organized “Blood Donation Camp Cum HIV and AIDS Awareness Camp” on October 24.
A press release by Pranab College informed that a session on Blood Donation was conducted by Dr. Arihant Jain, resource person who highlighted on importance of Blood Donation and emphasized the importance of blood donation and encourage students to come forward and save lives.
Chairperson, DISHA, Tanu Jain, also presented on importance of HIV and AIDS awareness and to abstain from risky behaviour.
The programme was chaired by Asst. Prof., Olivia J Kikon, while convener, Red Ribbon Club, Pranab College, I. Imkongakum. Ao delivered the welcome address, and vote of thanks by Department of Sociology, Seiboy Khongsai.
Students actively participated in the Blood Donation Camp and HIV and AIDS Awareness Camp, with a total of 24 students donating Blood.
