The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) has announced an Open Selection Trial for the upcoming Sub-Junior National Judo Championship 2025–26, scheduled to be held on November 1, 2025, at the Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium, Mokokchung. The trial will commence at 9:00 a.m.
The Sub-Junior National Championship is set to take place in Hyderabad from November 16 to 20, 2025. The selection trial aims to identify and prepare promising young judokas from Nagaland to represent the state at the national level. Eligibility is open to boys and girls aged 12 to 15 years, born between 2011 and 2013. Participants must be natives of Nagaland and are required to present their original Aadhaar Card and Birth Certificate during registration. A registration fee of Rs. 100 per participant will be charged.
The trial will be conducted in accordance with the contest rules and regulations of the Judo Federation of India (JFI) and the International Judo Federation (IJF). In addition to the selection trial, the NJA will also conduct a Grading Examination for Kyu Grades, ranging from Yellow Belt to Brown Belt.
