Nagaland unity events to mark 150th birth anniv of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Mokokchung Police will be organising a “Run for Unity” on October 31 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The event aims to foster and reinforce the spirit of unity, integrity, and security of the nation.
According to addl SP and PRO of Mokokchung police, the Run for Unity will begin at 6 am from Ongpangkong BOC Point and culminate at Imkongmeren Stadium (Local Ground).
A1l participants have been requested to assemble at the starting point by 5:45 am.
Mokokchung Police has invited all sections of society -students, government officials” NGOs, youth organisations, and the general public-to participate in this meaningful event.
Meanwhile, Deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang has informed that the Mera Yuva Bharat, under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with district administration Dimapur will be organizing a “District Level Padayatra” as part of “Sardar @ 150 Unity March” campaign on the eve of 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31. The Unity march will commence from 6 am at City Tower, Dimapur and will cover – Tajen Ao Road- Dimapur Government College and culminate at Dimapur Government College.
All institutions, officials, volunteers have been requested to assembly at the starting point by 6 am.
