The visit was undertaken to assess the preparedness of health facilities and review the implementation of national health programmes under the National Health Mission (NHM).
Led by Dr. Imkongtemsu Longchar (SIO/UIP), the monitoring team comprised senior officials from various programmes including Dr. Rupert Peseyie (SPO-RCH), Dr. Tinenlo James (SPO-PMNDP), Dr. Apichetla Amer (APO-NTEP), Dr. Longri Kichu (Public Health Specialist, NHM), Benjungtoshi Jamir (PM-CH), Aotemsu Ozukum (Consultant-NUHM), Tongpangmatsung (Consultant-NPCDCS), Imsubenla (PH & Training Consultant-NVBDCP), Ongjetla Ozukum (APM-HMIS), Kevin Kekruneihou Zinyu (CPHC Consultant), Ruokuolatuo Rutsu (Finance-UIP), and Rajesh Khartu Monsang (RPO, UNDP). A debriefing session was held on October 28, where key findings and recommendations were shared with district health officials. The session emphasized the need for collaborative efforts and continued monitoring to enhance health services in the district.
The Pre-CRM visit served as a preparatory step ahead of the upcoming Common Review Mission, helping to identify achievements and areas for improvement in Mon’s public health system.
