Nagaland Noksen Area Teachers Union celebrates silver jubilee

DIMAPUR

The Noksen Area Teachers Union (NATU) celebrated its silver jubileeon November 6 at Noksen Town Baptist Lashong, Noksen, Tuensang under the theme “Shaping Minds, Serving Communities,” with MLA, Lima Onen gracing the occasion.
According to DIPR report, Lima, who reflected on the theme “shaping minds, serving communities”, urged teachers to serve with full commitment for imparting quality education to the students. Stating on the karma of life, he assured that blessings will come to those who served with commitment and dedication.
He was optimistic, that the existence of NATU has served the education sector to prosper, and urged the union to retrospect and continue to excel in serving the students’ community. He also exhorted the teachers to be a role model for students.
Short speeches were also delivered by S Yongsen, pioneer NATU; Phuniang, SDO (C) Noksen; C Pongsu, president CWS; and Sipong Chuba, president ANSTS Tuensang Unit.
Noksen area Teachers Union was established in the year 2000 to impart quality education of the area students’.
