Nagaland SBPC SBAK Aizüto holds its 52nd session

The Sumi Baptist Conference (SBPC) held its 52nd Session from November 4 to 6 at Alaphumi Baptist Church, under the Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (SBAK) Aizuto, under the theme ‘Transformed by grace and empowered for change.’
A press release by SBPC, general secretary, Khekaho Chishi stated that the conference was graced by Eleutheros Christian Society, secretary, Rev. Chingmak Chang, as the guest speaker, who encouraged the pastors and leaders to be strengthened and renewed through God’s transforming grace.
Executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, delivered a message on ‘The sacred task,’ emphasizing the divine calling and responsibility of Christian leadership.
SBPC, Chairman, Dr. Khehoto Yeptho, spoke on ‘Building an organic Church,’ challenging the participants to nurture a spiritually healthy and Christ-centered community.
The conference was also graced by Sr. SDEO, Zunheboto, Y. Mughaho Zhimo, who recalled his late father’s pastoral legacy and urged the leaders to live up to the expectations of the Church.
Department of agriculture, Kohima, deputy director, David Awomi, brought greetings and encouraged everyone to walk faithfully in the Word of God.
Representing the waste management sector, Er. Pelenuo, shared her mission to keep Kohima clean and stressed the importance of protecting rivers and the environment, warning that neglect would bring serious consequences in the future.

Vitoshe, joint finance secretary (pastor, Aghulimi B.Ch), Hokavi, welfare convenor (pastor, Phushumi B.Ch), Yeshikhu, Welfare secretary (Pastor, Asukhuto Town B.Ch), Anato, women representative (women leader Yehemi B.Ch) Toholi, women representative, (women leader Shotomi B.Ch), Tokhuli, and advisor (pastor, Phisami B.Ch), Hokato.
