Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) has extended its congratulations to Niketu Iralu, widely known to generations of Nagas as Uncle Niketu, on being conferred the International Lifetime Achiever Award. The honour recognizes his lifelong commitment to peace and reconciliation both globally and within the Naga community.
A prominent moral voice and respected figure, Iralu has dedicated over six decades to the global movement of Moral Re-Armament, now known as Initiatives of Change. Through this platform and his personal engagements, he has consistently championed peace, justice, and human dignity, earning respect for his humility and unwavering principles. The FNR stated that the award celebrates not only the recognition bestowed upon Iralu but also the enduring legacy of his lifelong service to humanity. Within the forum, his presence has been instrumental, providing guidance, clarity, and vision in advancing the collective journey toward healing and unity under the initiative “A Journey of Common Hope.”
