One day training on SRI method of paddy cultivation was conducted by KVK, on July 17, sponsored by NFSM at Mokokchung. The resource person SMS agronomy, Samuel Sangtam highlighted that SRI technology was applicable where there was shortage of irrigation water. He also stressed on the advantages of the SRI technology which has better crop stand and more tillers resulted in higher grains yield. The programme was attended by 35 farmers.
