Nagaland GPRN/NSCN (U) holds meeting; reaffirms support to leadership

Dimapur

GPRN/NSCN (U) convened its annual meeting with all regional authorities at its Oking on November 21, 2025.
In a press release MIP of the group informed that the gathering witnessed the participation of RAOs, secretaries and staff members representing all 23 regions across Nagaland.
Delivering the keynote address, Ato Kilonser Alezo Venuh encouraged national workers serving at the regional level to remain steadfast, dedicated and unwavering in their commitment to the Naga National Movement, guided by the principle of “Nagaland for Christ.” He observed that over time, the Naga people had gradually drifted away from the original truth and purpose of the movement, becoming increasingly influenced by material wealth and political power. He stressed the need for reflection, moral integrity and unity, cautioning that without genuine reconciliation, the Naga solution would remain elusive.

The meeting concluded with the adoption of a two-point resolution, wherein all 23 regional authorities unanimously reaffirmed their support to GPRN/NSCN (U) under the leadership of president Gen. (Retd.) MB Neokpao Konyak and Ato Kilonser Alezo Venuh.
The resolution further endorsed the leadership to continue steering the Naga political issue toward its rightful conclusion. The house also resolved to stand by the Ungma and Zunheboto resolution initiated by the Forum for Naga Reconciliation to bring all Naga Nationalist Political Groups (NNPGs) together under one “Machang”.
