Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner, North Eastern Region (NER), Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, S.K. Jha, called on Nagaland chief secretary Sentiyanger Imchen at his office in Kohima to apprise him of the importance, significance and benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Vikshit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) and Employees’ Enrolment Scheme (EES) 2025 for both employees and employers.
During the interaction, Jha sought the support of the state government machinery for effective implementation of the schemes so that the working-class population engaged in establishments such as MSMEs, SSI units, private hospitals, hotel industries, schools and societies could be brought under the social security coverage provided by the Government of India through EPFO.
Jha was accompanied by Regional PF Commissioner-I, Regional Office Guwahati, Gaurav Srivastava, and Regional PF Commissioner-II, Special State Office Dimapur, Samuel Das.
From the state government, Labour Secretary Sotsula, Additional Labour Commissioner Avile Vitso, Finance Department under secretary Abeinuo Jasmine Ashao and Assistant Labour Commissioner Zaremo Kikon were also present.
