Nagaland’s lone Lok Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) S. Supongmeren Jamir at a co-ordination meeting with NHDICL and its executive director on Wednesday reviewed the progress of four-lane National Highway-29 (NH-29) from Dimapur to Kohima and all the other two-lane roads under construction in Nagaland.
At the meeting, MP took note of some delayed road construction works and requested the contractors to expediate the works without any further delay.
The meet decided that the MP along with the NHIDCL executive director and officials would visit various spots for verification in the month of January 2026.
After the meriting, the contractors interacted with MP to deliberate on the progress of the ongoing construction works.
