Thousands of music lovers thronged the DDSC Stadium, Dimapur on Thursday evening as Girish And The Chronicles (GATC) headlined a massive live concert that turned the venue into a pulsating arena of rock, energy, and celebration. The highly anticipated event, organised by Molungyimsen Lanur Telongjem Dimapur in aid of the House of Friendship Old Age Home, drew an overwhelming crowd from across the district and beyond.
Fans began lining up as early as 4 p.m. as the gates opened, with the stadium quickly filling up. The concert featured electrifying performances not only from the iconic rock band GATC but also from supporting acts Annie’s Ok and DJ Rhon, who kept the audience energized with dynamic sets.
Concertgoers holding gallery and ground tickets, priced at Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 respectively were treated to an unforgettable night packed with powerful vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and spectacular stage presence. The band’s fan-favourite hits had the massive crowd singing along, while the energetic lighting and sound added to the evening’s grandeur.
Organisers expressed gratitude for the overwhelming turnout, noting that the event successfully combined entertainment with a meaningful cause.
