State government has appointed Chingwang Konyak and Apong Pongener as advisors (political) to the chief minister of Nagaland, in the status of cabinet ministers, with immediate effect.
In a notification dated November 27 2025, the cabinet secretariat, has stated that earlier appointment of Chingwang Konyak as chairman of People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) coordination committee, in the status of a cabinet minister, vide Notification of even number dated April 13, 2023, stand revoked with immediate effect.
