Nagaland: GPRN/NNC (AB) condemns impersonation

Dimapur

Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland (GPRN/NNC – Apex Body) has strongly condemned the unauthorized impersonation by impeached member S.S. Pongkhu Yim and his associates.
In a press release issued after an emergency meeting of the council of kilonsers and army wings held on November 30, the MIP of GPRN/NNC (AB) clarified that S.S. Pongkhu Yim was terminated for activities deemed contrary to Christian values and the national Yezabo.
The collective leadership warned that serious action would be initiated if Pongkhu continued to misuse the name of GPRN/NNC (AB) and tarnish the image of the government.
The MIP stated that the sacrifices made by Nagas for the national movement should not be exploited for personal gain. It further reminded that Pongkhu was invited to serve as acting president and had previously opposed the use of the name GPRN/NNC (AB), lacking understanding of the term “Apex Body,” which was conceptualized by Francis Kikon
