Altogether 22,508 visitors thronged the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, on the opening day of the 10-day Hornbill festival on Monday, according to joint director Tourism, Toka E. Tuccumi.
Of the total Day-1 visitors, 363 were foreign tourists, 5,314 domestic tourists, and 16,831 local visitors, the Tourism department stated.
On December 2, the second day of the festival, 18,010 visitors were recorded, comprising 341 foreign tourists, 4,893 domestic tourists and 12,776 local visitors.
