Nagaland: ENSF to observe ‘Black Day’ on Dec 4 & 5 at Hornbill Fest

DIMAPUR, DEC 2 (NPN)

The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has announced that it will observe a “Black Day” on December 4 and 5 across all Eastern Naga morungs at the Hornbill Festival, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
In a notice issued to all Kohima-based tribal units under the ENPO, ENSF vice president Pushop and secretary general James Konyak directed strict compliance.
According to ENSF, all Eastern Naga morungs will hoist a black flag on December 4 at 5 a.m. Further, all participants from Eastern tribes have been asked to assemble at the Konyak Morung on December 5 at 4:30 p.m. for a candlelight vigil in traditional attire. ENSF also informed that all morungs of the Eastern community will remain closed during the observance.
