The three-day Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival 2025 drew an overwhelming congregation on day one, with organisers estimating that over 35,000 people- mostly youth- gathered at Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex (MDSC) Dimapur near DC Court Junction on Tuesday.
The inaugural evening opened with a vibrant praise fiesta from 3–5 p.m., featuring performances by New Life Music Nagaland, Dimapur Christian Fellowship, Limitless Generation and Harp Generation.
In his sermon at the Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival 2025, Apostle Ankit Sajwan from New Delhi’s Family Of Lord Jesus (FOLJ) Church urged the congregation to embrace healing, unity, and a fresh identity in Christ.
The young revivalist called on believers to “accept that you are healed,” stating that such acceptance signals expectation and true belonging to God. Proclaiming “the cloud of glory is here,” he assured the crowd that Jesus stands ready to transform lives. Sajwan honored the Heavenly Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, while thanking pastors, churches, and organizations for their unity. “This is how heaven will look-unity like Nagaland has never seen, united in the Lord’s name,” he declared. Sajwan clarified he came not to represent Christianity, but the name of Christ Himself vowing that God will revive the slogan “Nagaland for Christ.”
He warned against turning faith into “dead religious Christianity” devoid of God’s power, He stressed that God’s kingdom manifests through transformative power, not mere words, to liberate people
Sajwan, sharing his testimony, cited John 1:1 and reminded believers that true worship must be rooted in God’s Word. Urging Nagaland to return to Scripture, he stressed spiritual unity, declaring believers “one tribe of Jesus.”
He said revival would be marked not by miracles alone but by love, unity and oneness. A healing service highlighted the event, with several attendees testifying to recovery through faith.
Rev. Moses Murry, General Superintendent of the Assembly of God, NEI, greeted the festival, noting its importance for Dimapur and Nagaland.
With over 35,000 attendees, he hoped the event would be a blessing. Citing 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Acts 10:31, he urged believers to humble themselves, turn from wrongdoing, and fully surrender to Jesus, assuring that God would perform miracles for those who walk in faith.
The festival is organized by ‘The Gatekeepers’- a group of believers dedicated to promoting spiritual growth of people in Nagaland, by re-igniting Christian spiritual identity. The Organizers stated vision is “a reminder to embrace our Christ identity and ignite a generational revival.” The main service Tuesday started at 5 p.m. and continued into the evening.
For accessibility, food stalls were arranged at reasonable prices, with special areas designated for persons with disabilities, the sick and the elderly. A “May I Help You” desk and a lost-and-found booth were set up, while book stalls featuring works authored by Apostle Sajwan were made available at Rs. 300. Crowd management was ensured through a single entry and exit point.
