Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) Pvt. Ltd. on December 2 to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve educational facilities in Kohima and Dimapur.
The MoU was exchanged between Nagaland chief minister, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, on behalf of IDAN, and Director, Project SVP & CCO, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd., Sudeep Santram Dalvi.
In his address, Dr. Rio thanked Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. for choosing Nagaland in its CSR initiatives. He said partnering with Toyota as a health partner was intended to improve public health services, enhance learning empowerment, and create long-term social impact. He acknowledged that the state’s healthcare system faced challenges due to geographical isolation and lack of facilities, and expressed hope that the initiative would bring positive change to the lives of the people.
Sudeep Santram Dalvi, in his remarks, said Toyota’s initiative in the region reflected its corporate responsibility to contribute to meaningful socio-economic development. He added that as Toyota extends its engagement with Nagaland, the company would focus on creating social impact in education and health. He emphasized that Nagaland was a priority for Toyota and expressed hope that families and children would benefit from the initiatives.
