Nagaland: Gov, CM extend greetings on HG, CD & SDRF Raising Day

DIMAPUR, DEC 4 (NPN)

Nagaland Governor, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, and chief minister, Dr. Neiphiu Rio, have extended their greetings to all personnel of the Home Guards, Civil Defence and State Disaster Response Force on the occasion of their Raising Day on December 6.
Governor Bhalla conveyed his warm felicitations and appreciation for the unwavering commitment and selfless service of the personnel.
He lauded their role in responding to natural calamities, participating in search and rescue operations, and educating communities on disaster preparedness.
The Governor expressed confidence that the organization will continue to remain alert and attend to the call of duty whenever required, and extended his best wishes for their future endeavours.
In his message, Dr. Rio said the day is a tribute to the dedication, discipline and commitment of the personnel in safeguarding communities during hostilities, disasters and local emergencies. He commended them for upholding the tradition of voluntary service, demonstrating resilience and professionalism, and inspiring confidence among citizens.
Dr. Rio also congratulated all officials and staff for their steadfast service and sacrifices, expressing confidence that they will continue to uphold these noble values with zeal and integrity.
Meanwhile, advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guard & Civil Defence Relief & Rehabilitation, S. Kiusumew, also extended his best wishes on the occasion of Raising Day of Home Guards and Civil Defence.
In his message, Kiusumew lauded the bravery, selflessness and resilience of the Home Guards, Civil Defence and SDRF personnel, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to serving the State and the nation. He said their dedication to safeguarding communities during the toughest moments embodies the spirit of ‘Vayam Panchaad Parampara’, upheld through duty, unity and preparedness.
