Nagaland: UIDAI sets up Aadhaar stall at Hornbill Festival

UIDAI Regional Office Guwahati, in coordination with the Government of Nagaland, has set up an Aadhaar enrolment and update stall at the 26th Hornbill Festival 2025 at Kisama Heritage Village, Kohima. The stall will remain open till December 10.
According to officials, the stall offers Aadhaar enrolment for all age groups, including children below five years, with mandatory documents such as Aadhaar of one parent and the child’s birth certificate. Services for updating demographic details—name, address, gender, date of birth, mobile number and email ID—are also available.
Biometric updates including photo, fingerprints and iris scans are being provided, along with mandatory biometric updates for children at ages five and fifteen.
Visitors can also verify Aadhaar numbers through online or offline modes.
Officials have advised the public to carry original documents, which are scanned and returned immediately after the process.
