Ahead of the festive season, the Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has reiterated its appeal to the general public not to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere by way of indulging in any anti-social activities.
In a press release, NCD president GK Rengma and general secretary LK Peter Anal reminded that Christmas brings families and communities to share hope, peace and joy. Therefore, NCD has urged the people to welcome and celebrate the birth Lord Jesus Christ and let the spirit of unity and reconciliation also extend beyond churches.
The council prayed that the spirit of Christmas guide all towards cooperation, peace, progress and renew lives. NCD wished the people of Nagaland particularly in Dimapur a merry Christmas and prosperous New year 2026.
Meanwhile, NCD informed that its office would remain closed from December 16, 2025 to January 15, 2026 on account of Christmas and New Year 2026.
