Nagaland: PFRDA hosts NPS Quest 2.0 awards at Hornbill

The NPS Quest 2.0 Awards Ceremony organised by Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) concluded at the Hornbill Festival, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, on Decemebr 10. The event was conducted recognising creative contributions aimed at enhancing awareness on retirement planning, financial security and the National Pension System (NPS).
The programme began with welcome remarks and an overview of the NPS Quest initiative, followed by the screening of an introductory video highlighting the importance of financial literacy, particularly among the younger generation.
Chief Secretary, Sentiyanger Imchen, graced the occasion and distributed awards to the winners. He lauded PFRDA’s initiative in encouraging content creators from the Northeast to engage in meaningful conversations on financial literacy and retirement planning.
Addressing the gathering, S. Ramann, chairperson, PFRDA, said it is the Authority’s endeavour to make pension accessible to all and emphasised increasing coverage under NPS in the North Eastern states. He noted that NPS is available digitally and urged citizens to open accounts to secure their future.
