The Ato Area Sports Association (AASA) successfully concluded the 2nd Edition of the Lt. Ghonito Zhimomi Under-15 Football Tournament on Friday at Hozukhe village. The two-day event, held from December 11 to 12, brought together young football talents from across the area.
The final match saw Nihokhu village crowned champions, while Nikhekhu village finished as runners-up.
In the individual category, Player of the Tournament award was presented to Nipato (Nikhekhu village); Hat-trick bagged by Pulokivi Myrru (Nihokhu village); Highest Goal Scorer by Pulokivi Murru (Nihokhu village); Best Defender by Vikivi Achumi (Nihokhu village); and Best Goalkeeper by Nimugha Achumi (Toshiho village).
The closing ceremony was graced by SDO, Electrical Department of Power, Er. Hukato Jimo, as the special guest, and president of Dimapur District Congress Committee, Kutoho Chishi, as the guest of honour.
