Nagaland: LBCA ordains two pastors as Reverends

Lotha Baptist Churches Association (LBCA) ordination board on Sunday conducted an ordination service at Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar ‘B’, conferring the title of Reverend on Wojanthung Lotha, pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar ‘B’, and E. Longshithung Kikon, pastor of United Baptist Church.
The act of ordination was administered by LBCA executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Renbi Rangthang, who also led the priestly oath of allegiance for the newly ordained ministers.
Rev. Wojanthung, from Tsungiki village, has been associated with Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar ‘B’ since 2006. Rev. Longshithung Kikon previously served as associate pastor of Old Tssori Baptist Church, youth director of Baghty Town Baptist Church, pastor-in-charge of Phiro Baptist Church, and is currently serving as pastor of United Baptist Church near District Jail, Dimapur. Prof. Rev. Dr. Ezamo Murry, former executive secretary of LBCA, delivered the ordination message. The service was led by Rev. O. Thungben Kikon, chairman of the LBCA ordination board, while scripture reading was done by Rev. Moyithung Murry. The programme began with an invocation by Rev. Lanlongo Yanthan, offertory by Rev. Zubemo Ezung, and benediction by Rev. Ruphamo Kikon. The questioning of the candidates was conducted by Rev. Sankiluma Kikon, Rev. M.C. Kithan, and Rev. Ellis Odyuo.
The Lord’s Supper was administered by the newly ordained Reverends, assisted by Rev. Arhonthung Odyuo, Rev. Limhathung Mozhui, Rev. Lanlongo Yanthan, Rev. Thungjanshio Odyuo, Rev. S. Rentsamo Kithan, and Rev. Moyithung Murry.
