Nagaland: Achumbemo inaugurates SDO (Civil) office in Ralan

MLA & Chairman SDPDB Bhandari, Achumbemo Kikon , inaugurated the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) office, Ralan under Wokha on December 15.
According to DIPR report, Kikon, who spoke at the inaugural programme, congratulated the public and stakeholders and described the new office as a significant milestone in bringing administration closer to remote areas, thereby enhancing public service delivery and strengthening co-ordination with grassroots institutions.
He urged the officers to serve with dedication and transparency and at the same time, he also appealed to the citizens for full co-operation and encouraged the youth leaders to partner in promoting peace and development in the region. He asserted that the government is committed for inclusive growth and development in the Border regions.
In his technical report, assistant engineer (CAWD), Er. Daniel H Lotha informed that the total cost for construction of the SDC (C) office building is projected at 80,00,000 (Rupees Eighty Lakhs). The building is an RCC structure with a total plinth area of 2292.94 Sq.ft, including site and services such as water supply & sanitary, construction of septic tank & soak pit and power connection, he added.
The programme was chaired by Tsenthungo E. Ngullie (C) Ralan, and a dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Pastor Renben Ovung, Chandalashung New village.
Short speeches were delivered by Renbomo Ezung, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Wokha; Samuel Ovung, Chairman Ralan Area Lotha Hoho; and Ren Murry contractor. The programme culminated with a vote of thanks by Lawrence Ovung, chairman Ralan Range Union, Dimapur.
