Nagaland: Department of Art & Culture thanks cultural troupes

DIMAPUR

The department of art & culture extended heartfelt appreciation to all 18 cultural troupes from across the districts of Nagaland, Rongmei Tribe of Nagaland Cultural & Dancing Troupe, State partner cultural troupes, Arunachal Pradesh and Wancho Fusion Crew, Arunachal Pradesh for their vibrant and captivating performances at the Hornbill Festival, adding that their dedication in showcasing the rich culture and traditions has been instrumental in the success of this year’s festival
According to DIPR report, the department also thanked the two host village organizations, Phesama Youth Organization and Kigwema Youth Organization, for their warm hospitality and invaluable support in providing accommodation and catering services to the cultural troupes ensuring that the care and warmth provided brought out the best in their performances.
It also appreciated the officers and staff of the department of art & culture for their commitment, sincerity and teamwork in carrying out their assigned duties which were integral to the seamless execution of the daily cultural program and other festival related activities.
The department also acknowledged the services rendered by the comperes Cheryl Kevichusa and Lee Chang in presenting the daily cultural programs with fervour and clarity.
The department stated that it looks forward to continuing the spirit of unity and collaboration in the shared mission to protect, preserve and promote the vibrant culture of Nagaland.
