The 1st VQS Inter-Piphema Badminton Tournament was held at the Indoor Stadium, Modern College, Piphema, under the theme “Chase the Vision, Win the Quest.” Organised by the Vision Quest Society (VQS), the inaugural tournament brought together badminton players from across Piphema and witnessed competitive matches in both men’s and women’s categories.
In the men’s singles category, Viketoukho Shohe emerged champion, while Joseph Chettri finished as runner-up. Viketoukho Shohe further secured the men’s doubles title alongside Thinosilie Shohe, defeating the pair of Dhanraj Thakuri and Joseph Chettri, who settled for the runner-up position.
In the women’s singles event, Neilabeino Keyho claimed the championship title, with Thinoviseü Kuotsu Thakuri finishing runner-up. Neilabeino Keyho also went on to win the women’s doubles title, partnering with Atsono Thepa. The duo defeated Savino Rai and Mamta Rai, who finished as runners-up. The inaugural tournament was held with president of PKKK, Pelezeto Kuotsu, as the chief guest.
