DIMAPUR

Director General of Assam Rifles interacted with students during the National Integration Tour from Dimapur to Pransla, Gujarat, at the Rashtrakatha Shivir 2026 on December 28.
According to sources from Assam Rifles, the event was organised with the objective of fostering national unity and cultural harmony among students from across India.
During the interaction, the Director General inspired students to cultivate leadership, discipline, and a strong sense of service to the nation. He also highlighted the crucial role of youth in nation-building and stressed the importance of moral values, patriotism, and community service.
Sharing insights from his experiences in the armed forces, he emphasized resilience, teamwork, and commitment to societal welfare as key qualities for emerging leaders. The team, comprising 18 students and two teachers, will visit Pransla in Gujarat and Delhi, where they will participate in the Rashtrakatha Shivir—a national gathering that fosters patriotism, cultural awareness, and leadership among youth from across the country. It may be noted that Rashtrakatha Shivir 2026 aims to provide a platform for students from diverse backgrounds to exchange ideas, develop leadership skills, and strengthen a sense of collective responsibility toward India’s progress.
