Chekrovolu Swuro, president of the Nagaland Archery Association (NAA), has been elected vice president of the Archery Association of India (AAI).
The election took place during the recently concluded Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the AAI, held in conjunction with the 2025 Senior National Archery Championship in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, chief minister Neiphiu Rio, who is also president of the Nagaland Olympic Association, congratulated Swuro on her election. In a post on X, Rio extended his best wishes to her for a successful tenure, stating that she would bring her experience and dedication towards further strengthening Indian archery.
