Assam Rifles conducted various activities across Nagaland across Nagaland through a series of initiatives aimed at national integration, skill development, and community building.
National Integration Tour: A group of students from Nagaland, having completed the Rashtra Katha Shivir at Pransla, Gujarat, visited New Delhi on a national integration tour organized by Assam Rifles. During the visit, the students explored Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Air Force Headquarters, National War Memorial, and Kartavya Path. The tour aimed to deepen their understanding of India’s heritage, governance, and military legacy.
At Rashtrapati Bhavan, the students witnessed the grandeur of India’s democratic institutions and constitutional values, while paying homage at the National War Memorial instilled respect for the bravery of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in duty.
Walking along Kartavya Path and viewing India Gate provided insight into how symbolic sites preserve history and inspire unity.
The tour motivated students to contribute positively to society and strengthened their sense of national belonging.
SSC Coaching Programme in Kiphire: Assam Rifles launched a four-week free coaching programme for SSC Constable (GD) Examination 2026 aspirants in Kiphire District.
The programme provides academic and physical training for young men and women aspiring to join the armed forces. A total of 53 candidates, including girls, are attending the pre-recruitment coaching, which includes computer-based tests, academic sessions, and rigorous physical training under experienced instructors.
The initiative aims to maximize the selection of deserving youth into the SSC forces while addressing local unemployment. Participants expressed satisfaction and motivation, and the community lauded Assam Rifles
Alongside the coaching programme, Assam Rifles facilitated Boto Küdang, the inaugural assembly of the Khongsa Area Public Organisation (KAPO) in Khongsa Town. The assembly formally inaugurated KAPO, introduced office bearers, and discussed issues related to social welfare, unity, and local development.
The event was attended by and advisor to the Government of Nagaland, S. Kiusumew Yimchunger, MLA alongside civil society representatives, village elders, public leaders, and students. Assam Rifles provided administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth conduct and effective participation.
