Suruhuto Range Students’ Union 66th biennial conference underway

DIMAPUR

66th Biennial Conference of the Suruhuto Range Students’ Union (SRSU) commenced on January 7, at Sapotimi Village under Suruhuto. The event was graced by Deputy Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, S. Toiho Yeptho, as special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Yeptho highlighted various developmental activities being undertaken in Suruhuto range and emphasized the vital role of students in nation-building.
He urged students to move beyond merely being identified as Gen Z and strive to become “Gen Z Alpha”, a generation that aims for excellence and leadership rather than settling for average performance.
Pointing that the present generation was growing in a rapidly evolving and competitive environment, the Yeptho encouraged students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to continuous self-improvement.
Altogether, 16 students’ units from across the Suruhuto range are participating in the three-day biennial conference.
