The Nepali Baptist Church Kohima (NBCK) will organize the Gold Cup 50-Ball Cricket Tournament under the aegis of the Golden Jubilee Sports Committee from January 22 to 24, 2026, at the Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School Ground, Kohima.
The six-a-side men’s tennis-ball cricket tournament is being held as part of the year-long Golden Jubilee celebrations commemorating 50 years of NBCK, the first Nepali Church in Nagaland, established in 1976.
The champion team will receive a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 along with a trophy, while the runners-up will be awarded Rs. 15,000 with a trophy. Individual awards include: Player of the Tournament: Rs. 5,000 with trophy; Best Batsman: Rs. 2,000 with trophy; Best Bowler: Rs. 2,000 with trophy.
The tournament is open to all interested churches, clubs, teams and associations. Registration fee is fixed at Rs. 1,500 per team. Forms will be available from January 10, and the last date for submission is January 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM, after which fixtures will be drawn.
