DIMAPUR

The Batch of 2000 alumni reunited on December 27, 2025, under the banner of Bosconians (Don Bosco School, Dimapur), marking a memorable reunion that blended reflection, celebration and renewed bonds.
The programme began with an opening prayer by pastor Wabang Longchari of Lighthouse Church, ADC Court, followed by a moment of silence in remembrance of batchmates who have passed away.
Fr. John, former Vice Principal, addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of investing time in children and nurturing their holistic growth. He assured the alumni of his continued support, a message that resonated strongly with the gathering.
Speaking on behalf of the batch, Jianthalung Kamei reflected on how members of the Class of 2000 are now spread across different professions and locations, contributing meaningfully to society, yet remain united by shared roots and a common legacy.
A nostalgia video showcasing “then and now” moments traced the journeys of the batch over the years, evoking laughter, reflection and pride. Adding to the nostalgic mood, Gifthy and Limatoshi performed a special musical number, revisiting memories of their school band, Evoke.
The reunion also featured felicitations honouring Fr. John and Fr. Sebastian for their guidance and lasting influence on the batch. A lively “Laugh Out Loud” segment hosted by YouTuber and stand-up comedian Hopang Naga brought humour and fond memories of school days.
Ruth, a core committee member, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the organising team and contributors. The programme concluded with a benediction prayer by Fr. Sebastian.
Symbolising continuity and hope, the batch planted two Gulmohar trees. The celebrations continued with games, interactive activities and concluded with a shared dinner, marking a fitting end to a meaningful reunion.
