Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio on Monday said that the decision to relocate the Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) headquarters of Namsang Circle from Kongshong to Yonglok under Longleng district was taken in response to long-standing public representations and with the objective of strengthening administrative outreach. Others who addressed the gathering included, deputy chief minister Y Patton, legislators– B Bangtick Phom, A Pongshi Phom and deputy commissioner Longleng W Manpai Phom.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Phongshak Phom while invocation was pronounced by Yonglok Baptist Church pastor Longshing. Welcome address was delivered by president Namsang Citizen Union B Patong Phom and words of appreciation by president Phom Peoples’ Council Y.B. Angam Phom.
