A recruitment rally comprising 577 youths took part over three days in Shamator where 187 qualified for the written exam. On the third and final day, 57 out of the 165 candidates qualified.
According to DIPR report, DIGP IR. South Lakha Koza, IPS, thanked the Yimkhiung Tribal Council, all the rank and files of DEF Shamator led by Shinde Suresh. K. IPS, Superintendent of Police, Shamator for their commendable job and wished all the successful candidates the best for the coming interview.
